About us

Small team. Big crowds.

BamText launched in Charlottetown on February 12, 2014, and signed its first client two weeks later. Twelve years on, we help organizations across North America hear from the people they serve, by text. The idea is still simple: the easiest way to hear from someone is the phone already in their hand.

What we do

Government departments use BamText for citizen feedback and infrastructure condition reporting. National brands use it for customer reporting on facilities and washrooms. Festivals use it for people's choice voting, from Las Vegas food festivals to the White House BBQ. Golf courses use it to get golfers to the first tee on time.

Where we are

We're proudly based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, and serve clients across Canada and the United States.

The founders

Two guys, one idea, a lot of texts.

Jordan Fraser

Jordan Fraser

Co-founder

Jordan started BamText after standing unnoticed at a sunglass counter for half an hour and realizing there was no easy way to tell a manager. So he set out to fix it. A UPEI grad, he quit his day job to go all in, signed the very first client within two weeks of launch, and has turned a side project into the texting partner for festivals, government departments and national brands across North America.

Keir Pollard

Keir Pollard

Co-founder & VP Engineering

Keir is the engineer who turned Jordan's idea into a working platform. When Jordan pitched a texting service in 2013, Keir figured out how it would actually work, and he's been building the technology behind BamText ever since: the dashboard, live voting and the integrations behind every message. If it texts, Keir probably wired it.

Let's talk.
